Supper clubs in Amsterdam: dinner in a local’s home

From a canal-house kitchen to a flat in De Pijp, Amsterdam hosts cook the food they grew up with, the dishes they are experimenting with, or the menu they want to open a restaurant around.

Every Suppa Club listing shows the host, the menu, allergens, drinks and the price per person before you book.

What to expect at an Amsterdam supper club

A canal-house kitchen in the Jordaan, an apartment in Oost, a converted workshop in Noord: Amsterdam hosts cook in the places they live. Expect anything from a rijsttafel learned at a family table to seasonal Dutch produce in the hands of a chef with their own ideas.

Most dinners are a single sitting around one table, with the host cooking and serving. Arrive on time: the first course usually waits for no one.

More than a dinner reservation

Amsterdam is full of good restaurants, and full of people trying to get a table at them. A supper club gives you something no booking app can: a seat in someone’s home, a menu that exists for one night and a host who will tell you the story behind every course. Bring the friends who always pick the restaurant, and let them be impressed for once.

How booking works

Choose a dinner, pick your seats and pay securely online through Stripe. Your seat is confirmed as soon as payment succeeds. For the host’s privacy, the listing shows the neighbourhood and the exact address is shared after you book. Each listing shows its allergens and cancellation terms up front; if anything is unclear, message the host before you book. If the host cancels, you get a full refund.
