Terms & conditions
PROVISIONAL · FOR LEGAL REVIEW
2026-09-16-provisional-2
1. Who your dinner agreement is with
Your agreement for the dinner is directly between you (the diner making the booking) and the host identified on the dinner page and booking confirmation. The host supplies and operates the dinner. Suppa Club provides the discovery and booking platform and, where available, facilitates payment and communications. Suppa Club is not the supplier of the dinner under this agreement. This description does not remove any responsibility that the law places on Suppa Club for its own services or conduct.
2. Before you book
Read the host identity, location, menu, ingredients and allergens, date and stated time zone, total price and currency, drinks arrangements, cancellation policy, minimum guest requirement and any house rules before booking. Ask the host about anything unclear, including accessibility and dietary suitability. The host must identify the person or business supplying the dinner and disclose whether they act as a trader. Consumer rights may depend on that status; calling someone a private host does not determine their legal status.
3. Making a booking
You must be at least 18 to make a booking and provide accurate contact details. Any younger attendees must meet the host’s stated age rules and attend with a responsible adult. You must share the dinner information and applicable rules with everyone you book for. A live dinner agreement is formed when a successful booking confirmation is issued for the named host following any required payment; an open checkout or temporary seat hold is not confirmation. A stated minimum-attendance condition still applies. Demo and Stripe sandbox reservations are tests only and do not purchase a real dinner.
4. Price and payment
The total price, currency and any mandatory charges must be shown before you commit to payment. Pay only through the booking method shown. Where Suppa Club facilitates collection or refunds, it does so in connection with the host’s booking; any separate platform charge must be disclosed. Test payments use no real money. Host payout timing does not reduce the diner’s refund rights.
5. The host’s responsibilities
The host is responsible for the accuracy of the listing, preparing and providing the advertised dinner with reasonable care and skill, safe premises and food handling, accurate allergen information, and meeting applicable registration, permissions, licensing, tax and insurance requirements. The host must not misrepresent qualifications or approvals. A listing or registration reference on Suppa Club is not a platform certification of food safety or permission to operate.
6. Allergies, dietary needs and conduct
Check the menu and allergen information before booking and discuss any allergy or dietary need with the host. A fixed menu may not allow substitutions. Shared kitchens may involve cross-contact, so ingredient disclosure is not a guarantee of an allergen-free environment. Do not book if the host cannot confirm the dinner is suitable for your needs. These checks do not excuse unsafe food or inaccurate information. Guests and hosts must treat one another respectfully, follow reasonable safety and house rules, and comply with applicable alcohol and age restrictions.
7. Cancellation, changes and refunds
The dinner-specific cancellation policy and deadline shown at booking form part of your agreement and are saved with the booking. Cancel through your booking page where available, or contact support if it is unavailable. If the host cancels, including because the minimum attendance is not met, the diner is entitled to a full refund of the cancelled booking, including mandatory booking charges. The host must disclose any material change promptly and offer the diner a choice of accepting it or cancelling for a full refund. A stated no-standard-refund period does not override remedies for non-performance, unsafe services, unfair charges or other mandatory rights. Any statutory withdrawal right depends on the applicable law and service; these terms do not create a universal 14-day cancellation right for dated dinners.
8. Problems and responsibility
Raise dinner problems with the host promptly and keep your booking reference and relevant records. You can also contact [email protected] for platform support or help contacting the host. This contact process does not prevent a complaint to an authority, payment provider or court. Hosts remain responsible for the dinner they supply; Suppa Club remains responsible for its own platform services and conduct as required by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability and consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Guests do not waive legal rights by accepting these terms.
9. Personal information
Provide only information needed for your booking. Booking details may be shared with the host to arrange the dinner. Hosts must use guest details only for legitimate booking purposes, protect them appropriately and comply with applicable data-protection law. Marketing requires its own lawful basis; making a booking is not consent to promotional messages. A separate privacy notice must explain the platform’s processing and your rights.
10. Applicable rights and changes to terms
The mandatory laws and consumer protections applicable to your booking continue to apply in France, the Netherlands, the UK or Ireland as relevant. These provisional terms do not require you to give up a court or dispute-resolution option available under those laws. The version accepted when you book applies to that booking; later updates do not retrospectively replace it.
